This Youtube video is from a documentary made by Refugees International about the people living in Darfur where the genocide is affecting their lives to the greatest degree. It talks about how many of these people fled to Chad to seek safer living environments by walking many miles in the hot African sun. Families confess how they had to leave their children in the deserts when the Janjaweed attacked their villages and how that broke their hearts. Women talks about how they were raped and so were their daughters. People talk about how they try their best to help women or sexual abuse, but if they get caught, they would be killed. Children as young as five, talk about how they have to care for their younger siblings because their parents were either killed or gone missing. They are now the parental figure when they are still children there selves. They have to collect grass and food products only to receive a dollar a day for their family. Pregnant women are cut open to make sure that they are not caring a boy. The government in Sudan did not want any blacks, just Arabs, so they sent out to kill them all. The Rebel groups are very well armed and the Darfurians are helpless. There are no western countries stepping in to help and people are shocked that this has happened again after the genocide in Rwanda
